The Ask

Polestar are a brand that adopt a ‘less is more approach’, not wanting fussy language or cluttered ads, and instead let the beauty of their product do the talking. They were looking for a 241 delivery radio ad that would complement their visual ‘Pure Design’ campaign for Polestar 2.

The Insight

End of year is a busy time for radio, with other car brands in the space competing to be heard. The beauty of the design of Polestar cars is easy to see, but we needed to showcase this using only audio. After a test drive, we found that Pure Design isn’t just a sight - it’s also a sound.

The Idea

In a particularly noisy time for automotive brands on radio, we wanted to give listeners a moment of tranquillity, a moment to relax. Polestar doesn’t need to shout at you about how great it is – you just need your senses to feel the driving experience.

What does Pure Design sound like? To us, like a Polestar 2.
