As part of Safefoods “clean as you go campaign” to prevent cross-contamination in the home, we needed to create a video to resonate with parents. Every parent has distractions, especially when they’re trying to safely prepare food, a lapse in concentration or a distraction can lead to mistakes when preparing food. So we are asking parents to just take a second, and utter the famous phrase all parents use, “Give me a second”. And for them to take a second to do what is required to prevent contamination. As this is an all of Ireland campaign, we wanted a creator who would work North and South and bring some humour to the messaging; Diona Doherty.
